It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Bonillas Traditional Elementary School. I am honored to join this wonderful community and look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to create an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

For the past 27 years, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of educational leadership roles, including teacher, Curriculum Service Provider, and Assistant Principal. These experiences have strengthened my passion for instructional excellence, collaborative leadership, and building positive school cultures where both students and educators can thrive.

Most recently, I have served as Assistant Principal at Roskruge Bilingual K-8, where I worked alongside staff to support high-quality instruction in both English and Spanish, develop professional learning communities, coach and evaluate teachers, implement restorative practices, strengthen family engagement, and oversee daily school operations. Prior to that, I spent four years as a Curriculum Service Provider, partnering with teachers to improve instruction, analyze student data, facilitate professional development, and support district curriculum initiatives. These opportunities have reinforced my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and continuous learning are the foundation of a successful school.

As a bilingual educator fluent in Spanish, I deeply value the diversity of our school community and believe every family deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and connected. I am committed to maintaining open communication, celebrating each student's unique strengths, and ensuring that every child has access to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

I earned my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and my bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to growing as an educational leader while supporting the success of students, staff, and families. I am truly excited to become part of this school community. Together, we will build on the strengths of our school, foster a culture of kindness and academic excellence, and create meaningful opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential.
